I’ve recently realised that many conservative catchphrases can be answered with a simple challenge: “get naked then!”. How come?

Programming isn’t that hard. Really. With enough time and determination, almost everybody could write some useful code. The Internet is full of tutorials that teach you programming from scratch, full of people who faced the same problems you do, full of people who solved those problems and shared their solutions for you to use, and finally full of free libraries that you can just use. All you need to do is learn some tools, google your problems and put together pieces of code that you find.
But if it’s not a black magic, not a secret knowledge, then why are software developers so well paid?

When I first heard the term “Autowiring”, I thought it sounds exciting. But when I learned more or less what is it about, I got pretty sceptical of the idea. Too much magic, too much implied information... However, when I finally used it for the first time... Gosh I wish I could never define services manually again!

The concept of sin is scary for believers, but for non-believers – it’s just foolish. Sinful is not the same as wrong, evil and immoral. Why not?

At first I didn’t really think about it. It was yet another thing that my parents taught me and I just accepted. Boys and girls need to have separate toilets and locker rooms, so that the boys wouldn’t do nasty things to the girls. Simple.
But one day a cleaning lady came in to the boys’ locker room. And one day a female teacher come in. How come? Why can they see half-naked boys, while our female classmates cannot? That got me thinking and trying to find any sense in that.

I can’t count how many times I’ve been accused of “only being and atheist because I hate god!”. How the hell can I possibly hate something that I claim does not exists?
But no worries – if he existed, I’d hate him so much!
Say you’ve found a host lying on a street. Is there any way whatsoever to determine, whether it’s still just a bread, or maybe it’s already transformed into god in person?
It’s possible to determine, which floor was used to bake it, more or less when did it happen, how much smog have settled on it in the meanwhile. If we really try, we can figure out practically it’s whole history – but it’s impossible to say, if it’s entire nature changed drastically? That means just one thing: no, it didn’t change.
If a body A and a body B are totally indistinguishable from each other (whether physically or “spiritually”), then A = B. God’s not in that bread. Transsubstantiation is a myth.
Transsubstancjacja to mit.
Podchodzi do mnie starszy koleś w różowej sukieneczce i podaje mi do zmacania kawałek szmatki z garderoby trupa.
Ta sytuacja miała miejsce naprawdę, lecz większość świadków zapewne opisałaby to inaczej: katolicki arcybiskup usiłował mi pobłogosławić za pomocą relikwii drugiego stopnia św. Jana Pawła II.

There’s obviously a big taboo around nudity. And I don’t think it makes much sense. Our norms regarding nakedness seem quite arbitrary...

I love how the Germans are non-prudish when it comes to nudity. They even have a dating show, where people choose their dates solely based on how they look naked – and it sparks next to no controversy at all. They’ve even created a kind of culture around being naked – that’s actually how they call it in German: FKK, Freikörperkultur, Free Body Culture.
I’ve always enjoyed being naked, be it with other people or not. And from what I’ve heard, for a nudist there are very few (or no) better countries to live than Germany. But still, there are some things that annoy me about it...
